Lake Austin is a shallow lake that is a great spot for bass fishing in Austin, TX. Just downstream from Lake Travis, this area has a good largemouth bass population. In this lake, there is a good population of trophy bass (10 pounds or more). You will find more of this size of fish in this lake than almost any other lake in the Austin area.
